Hello and welcome to my portfolio! I graduated from Penn State University in 2019 as a broadcast journalism major in the Donald P Bellisario College of Communications and I also have a minor in Spanish. During my four years at Penn State I explored many different aspects in the field of journalism. My freshmen year I spent a semester writing for The Daily Collegian, the school newspaper. My sophomore and junior years I worked on the news staff for CommRadio. My friend and I produced and host our own radio show called Coffee with Jill and Jill. My senior year I was a part of a six credit news class called Centre County Report. During my junior year spring semester I studied abroad in Barcelona and completed my Spanish minor.

I have taken a wide range of journalism courses during my time at Penn State such as; Communications 260 news writing, Communications 360 radio reporting, Communications 465 television reporting, Communications 480 Centre County Report and Communications 481 multimedia journalism. With these classes I have had numerous chances to do hands on reporting and get to know what kind of journalism interests me. I would like to work as a multimedia journalist on human interest stories and projects. Someday I aspire to work at either Vox or Vice collecting stories from all over the world to show to a vast audience.
